The Kenmore West community mourns the sudden loss of former principal Doug Smith.  Mr. Smith was a warm soul who is remembered with love and respect by those who had the pleasure to work or learn under his guidance.

Sandy Hollander, class of 1977, coached the Buffalo State College Softball team for many years until her untimely death from cancer last year.  The BSC Softball team is raising funds in an effort to rename their field in her honor.

Sarah (Thorp) Acton passed away suddenly while accompanying students from Tapestry Charter School on a trip in Costa Rica.  The Kenmore West community joins in mourning the tragic loss of one of our alumni so early in her life.  Our prayers go out to the Thorp and Acton families, as well as the Tapestry Charter community.
